Week 17- Industrial [Rebekah]

Industrial.

It brings to mind old cotton mills, humming as they send white puffs whirling into the air. The metal machine is a blur; it shows productivity at its finest.

There are many things I could have done. Toledo is a hubbub of industry. Factories are not lacking.

But there are some weeks where you never get around to doing anything. And this was my week for that.

So, I apologize, and here is my lame entry for this week.

Week семнадцать - Industrial [Parker]

I had an idea for this word. But it came too late. The week is already far past and I don't feel like taking pictures for an old week. My idea shall have to lie dormant until a more opportune time. Fear not. I still have some pictures for your enjoyment.

Week 17 - Industrial [Jeannette]

Seventeen weeks before my first failure to post in a pretty timely manner, which I think is pretty good. For some reason, industrial didn't seem to strike our fancies enough to incur pursuit. Perhaps it was because I had this neat vision of factories in the city with smoke rising at night, which just wasn't very practical to do for someone without ready transportation.

At last, however, I resolved to make movement before I had to post the next one too. I am moderately pleased with some of the set.

Week 17 - Industrial [Aaron]

I especially love this picture because it captures the life of farming, which I consider to be America's backbone industry.

It is what America was founded on, and has provided food, money, and jobs for people and families across this nation for centuries.

We would not be what we are today if it weren't for those pioneers of long ago who farmed.

We would also not be what we are today if it weren't for the great minds that America has produced, such as Samuel Morse and Alexander Gram Bell.
They not only changed America, but the whole world through their great inventions.

Week 16 - Saturation [Rebekah]

Saturation. Color. Here's what I've got for you this week!

Thanks to Abby for wearing that awesome red coat, and to Parker for taking a picture in exactly the right spot.

What was your favorite picture? Or what was your favorite part about the post?

Week 16 - Saturation [Aaron]

I am posting these pictures late. But not because I hadn't already taken them. You see, I am always taking pictures. I don't go a day without taking one; but when it comes to choosing, editing, and...well, getting on the computer to upload them, it takes me a little while longer. Definitely not because I didn't take the pictures though. I'm sure you guys know what I mean. Anyway, my pictures for saturation are here.
Enjoy!

Week шестнадцать - Saturation [Parker]

Apologies for being late.

Week 16 - Saturation [Nick]

Hmm. Saturation. I'm not exactly sure what this makes me think of, but mostly things to do with color and change. So here goes. I hope you enjoy!

Week пятнадцать - Decrepit [Parker]

I had ideas of a couple of old ruined buildings but they both turned out to be not quite what I was searching for. They were all right but I knew there had to be something better.

That is when I thought of an old maple sugaring shack in some woods close to our house. That thing screams decrepit. Or rather, it whispers it in the voice of your great great great grandfather who is close to death and can only be heard if you are close enough. He is the kind of man people are scared to be around (seriously, a couple of guys refused to go into it because it was night time). You sort of expect his old, decrepit body to simply whither away over night, but old people are stubborn. The old shack continues to stand strong.
