Trembling, a wrinkly old hand grasps the knobby top of a wooden cane, supporting a hunched, wavering little body.
A wooden door swings freely on its squeaky hinges, adding to the light the holey walls allow into the dusty shack.
These are two of the visions that come to mind when one hears the word decrepit. We discussed doing old for the word this week. "Old and decrepit," Parker said. Finding decrepit a more interesting word, we went with that. Decrepit is another word people don't use often enough.
Parker willingly supplied his hands for the word. His strange hand thing fit well with the word.
Creepy.
